Automotive
Complete automotive production lines
Two complete production lines with robotic assembly and MES connectivity. We were also involved in product development; 30 weeks passed from order to project completion with trial operation and final handover.

Task and implementation
Two automotive production lines had to be implemented to meet the specified output and cycle time with fewer operators than originally planned. This required examining the product design and the production process together.
We developed the production concept jointly with the customer's specialists. We were already involved in improving the product's suitability for automation during product development. The lines combine robotic fitting and screwdriving, assembly operations, camera-based and sensor-based inspections, interchangeable fixtures and a cooling station. MES integration provides the data connection for the production process.
Staffing requirements are already shaped by product design
We assessed suitability for robotic handling together with the customer during product development. This allowed the assembly sequence and the fit of the components to evolve together with the line design. The two lines meet the specified production requirements with fewer operators than originally planned. The 30 weeks are the total project duration, from order through trial operation to final handover.
